And I guess the continual bombardment of data, information and communications can become a bit overwhelming and people just want to withdraw and get some peace. Once heard that we believe there is more crime than the 'golden age', but eras such as the Victorian were less reported. Now we have lots of Jack the Rippers while back then there was only one. Yet if you read old papers in details, the crimes might have been different but they were reported in just a sentence or two.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
