2013
In March 2013, Sharon Cook and I had our first taste of the celebrity press. Not OK or Hello, but we were interviewed by Lucy Walton of Female First, a website bringing us "the very latest celebrity news and gossip as well as the best in lifestyle, entertainment and fashion news". Well, how could we refuse? At one point, our interview was sharing a page with a video interview with David Beckham and a review of Kate Mosse's latest book. We answered questions on the process for collaborative writing, the influence of place on our work, and that old favourite: our favourite authors. You can find the full interview here.

Rebeccah Giltrow publishes interviews with writers and representatives of writing groups on her website Rebeccah Writes. She published an interview with one of the members of my own group, Chudleigh Writers' Circle back in November 2012. In April 2013, she published my answers to her questions about being a member of a writing circle, about my writing routine (did I hear someone snigger then? I do have a routine - honestly) and about the two anthologies Sharon and I published. You can read the interview here.
Richard Hardie publishes weekly "interesting interviews with famous (and not so famous) people". I guess I fall into the latter category (although according to my husband, I am famous in Chudleigh as one of the bossiest people in town; and I was once interviewed on the morning national TV news - in Ukraine). When Richard published his interview with me in April 2013, we talked about moving from the noisy, dirty, very dry South East to Devon, which is the opposite on all three counts; about the theme of my novel and about the month's writing challenge that turned into a book. You can read the full interview here.
Sarah PJ White publishes weekly interviews with writers in her Author Spotlight feature. Each author is asked the same set of questions, including inspiration for the first book; challenges and difficulties of writing; and is offered he chance to share some of their work. In May 2013, I was Sarah's nineteenth interviewee. You can read the full interview here.
